Jalsa Salana 2013 Guest Interviews

Our Web Correspondents met various overseas guests attending 29th Jalsa Salana (Annual Convention) Australia. The guests were asked about their sentiments on attending this Jalsa especially with the presence of His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad (aba). The responses of the guests are given hereunder:

Mr Rehan Woleg Robinson, President Jamaat Ahmdiyya, Vonuatu

“I entered Jamaat Ahmadiyya in 2004 and Ba’ait initiation ensued in 2006. Then, I added Rehan to my name. My coming here is really a big blessing especially with His Holiness being present. I am having marvelous experience here by meeting different nationalities especially seeing His Holiness every day”.

Mr Fazalullah Tariq, Ameer Jamaat Ahmadiyya, Fiji

“Wherever in the world Huzur (aba) goes, treasures of blessings follow and Ahmadies are content. Our 37 Ahmadies from Fiji have come here to seek blessings of Allah. This Jalsa has become a inspiring event and could be compared, in certain aspects, with conventions of UK and Canada though smaller in size. As the event grows, may Allah bless Jamaat Australia to fulfill their ensued responsibilities.”

Mr Ahmad Kamal Yousaf, Missionary Norway

“My sentiments for Khalifatul Masih’s (aba) presence in the Jalsa cannot be described in words. I am fortunate enough to be here after travelling 17 hours but just a glimpse of His Holiness demitted all my fatigue of travel. May Allah enable everyone to seek nearness of His Holiness (aba) even if one has to spend whatever he possesses”.

“I have been invited by one my students. Everyone has been very very welcoming, the event is very well organized and people are hospitable. I have also been given introduction to Ahmadiyya Islam and now I have good idea of Islam”.

Mr Fabian (Non-Ahmadi) representing M/s Hill Hiinges Hire

“We provided Marquees for this convention as well as the convention of 2006. Although, we provide the same to other Muslim communities but this is the biggest event we have done and have good experience with the Ahmadiyya community”.
