International Peace Day Exhibition by AMWA Canberra


The International Day of Peace ("Peace Day") is observed around the world each year on 21st September. Established in 1981 by unanimous United Nations resolution, Peace Day provides a globally shared date for all humanity to commit to Peace above all difference and to contribute to building a Culture of Peace.

The U.N. General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to "commemorating and strengthening the ideals of peace both within and among all nations and peoples."

Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association Canberra
 is proud to organise an exhibition at Civic library and Belconnen library to mark the occasion. The details of the exhibition are as follows:

Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association is highlighting the Islamic Teachings on the subject of peace and initiatives of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community for achieving global peace. At this exhibition you will see some of our many activities for building bridges in the society. We believe in loyalty to our country of residence, inter-faith harmony and service to mankind without any prejudice. Our motto is LOVE FOR ALL, HATRED FOR NONE.
