The Condolence Resolution on the death of Maulana Mahmood Ahmad

In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Ever Merciful

“All that is on Earth will pass away” (Holy Quran 55:27)

The Condolence Resolution on the death of Maulana Mahmood Ahmad Shahid (Ameer and Missionary In-Charge of Jamaat Ahmadiyya Australia)

Today on 25th April 2014 a special meeting of the National Majlis-e-Amlaa was held after Maghrib and Ishaa prayers at the Baitul Huda Mosque in Sydney. All members of the Amlaa expressed great sorrow and grieved on the death of respected Ameer sahib. Jamaat has lost a sagacious and compassionate personality and a wise leader. “Surely, to Allah we belong and to Him shall we return” (Holy Quran 2:157)

He was given opportunity by Allah Almighty to serve Jamaat in various capacities for nearly 48 years. Amongst these services the most notable were 10 years as President Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya Markazia (International) and 23 years as Ameer Jamaat Ahmadiyya Australia.

He was truly obedient to Khilafat, its follower and devotee. His whole life was an example for members of Jamaat Ahmadiyya Australia in particular and other members in general. May Allah always give Jamaat such righteous and highly learned persons. Amin

He is grieved by a wife, a son and three daughters.

We, members of Majlis-e-Amlaa Jamaat Ahmadiyya Australia, offer our heartfelt sympathies and deepest condolences before our Imam Hazrat Khalifatul Masih V (May Allah be his Helper).

Similarly, we offer our deepest sympathies and condolences to respected Hajra Begum, wife of Maulana Mahmood Ahmad Shahid and their children. May Allah grant them patience to bear this loss.

We humbly pray to Almighty Allah that May He grant elevated station to Maulana Mahmood Ahmad Shahid in the paradise of Firdaus. May Allah continue to always elevate his spiritual status. Amin

We are members of National Majlis-e-Amlaa

Jamaat Ahmadiyya Australia

Sincerely Khaksaar
